Background
West Street Child Care Learning Center, Inc. has been in operation since 1969. West Street is licensed and accredited by the New York State as an institute of learning. In 2000, West Street became an accredited
childcare program by the National Academy of Early Childhood (NAEYC). West Street’s current capacity serves 124 children and is now expanded into two sites – Spring Valley and Pomona, New York.

Philosophy
Our philosophy at West Street Child Care Learning Center, Inc. is to provide a high quality early childhood program that provides a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional
and social development of young children while responding to the needs of families.

Meet Our Staff
West Street currently staffs 45 trained and experienced early childcare workers.  All of our teaching staff are certified to work in the early childhood field. Not only do we promote education to our children but we promote continuing education in our staff.  Our staff attends monthly workshops and trainings to better serve our children.   We have an onsite RN, two Social Workers, an experienced education coordinator.
